5.00.00 (8/08) - COMPLETE REWRITE!
- Can now read logs of any size
- New buffering proc speeds up large files
- Config page takes the place of confusing command-line options
- Now defaults to the more popular ncid program (elseed IS still supported)
- Caller-ID logs can be automatically downloaded via ftp, enabling the script to be used on a Tivo that does not have Caller-ID installed
- Better search box: names/text now supported, and other searches much less confusing
- Clicking a phone number or name link creates a filtered search
- Searches will recognize hours/minutes/seconds. "Three hours ago" now works as an option
- Added sms links. Send email directly to a cell phone via Teleflip
- Added record numbers
- TV view moved to .rss section for better cacheing
- Alias no longer uses .alias extension
- Alias now restarts cid program automatically, if possible
- Alias gives number of records being used in ncidd.alias
- 'Reverse Name Order' now correctly puts "The" in front

- Some simplifications were made to the code. The module no longer auto-switches between programs if the defaults chosen by the user aren't available (ie, scaling the "Standard" font in out2osd).
- Fixed more checkbox persistence
- Removed background color option for series 1/text2osd in order to do away with the ugly screen-covering box
- Cleaned up code to let out2osd run from its default location, even if it hasn't been added to the path explicitly
- bug fixed where returns in text would multiply when "Save these defaults" was used on some browsers

Screentext is a TWP 2.1 module that sends, yup: text to your TV screen. Supports fonts, colors, sizes, centering and formatting. Works with either out2osd (from the ncid package) or the native text2osd, which stinks. This is similar to the old displaytext module, but it was rewritten from the ground up and has completely different features.

Version 3.1.04(b2) (11/07) - TWP 2.1.b2 changes the way RSS feeds are handled. This breaks external module support, so here's a fix.

wakelan for series 2

I compiled the standard wakelan-1.1 for use on Tivos. The idea is to tie this to remote keypresses, to be able to wake up servers that have gone to sleep. Don't quite know how to do that yet, but will keep working on it...

Version 3.1.03(b2) (11/07) - Version updated to be compatible with latest TWP beta - Better tooltip fix, but we start to get away from TWP 2.0 compatibility a bit. For this reason, I will continue to keep the .01 version (still compatible with 2.0) on my web site. - RSS feeds are broken in TWP beta 2. I've spoken to BTUx9 and it should be an easy fix but it's not in the bundle yet.

This is a rewrite of cidrss which does NOT require Tivoweb. It would be very useful to Series 1 users that have Trickey running, since they could just assign a key on their remote and have instant access to the CID list.
